New Lifestyles was founded in 1985 to provide transitional living support to emerging adults. Since that time, the program has grown to include intensive clinical, behavioral, motivational and psycho-educational support.

Staff

Drs.Cuave and Throckmorton supervise clinical services at New Lifestyles.

The New Lifestyles clinical team consists of at least six full-time doctorate level professionals including two licensed psychologists and two psychology residents. Our in-house clinical psychology doctoral internship-training program provides three additional clinical professional staff.

The New Lifestyles program team consists of four full-time bachelor’s level para-professionals.

The New Lifestyles coaching staff consists of several part-time individuals. Qualification for these positions often includes former New Lifestyles student status.

Maintenance, cook, administrative, and accounting staff support the New Lifestyles clinical, program and coaching teams.

New Lifestyles is located at the northern end of the Shenandoah Valley in the historic district of Winchester, Virginia. Winchester is one hour west of Dulles International Airport and 1½ hour west of the Washington, DC beltway.
